Held Brake
A structured vocabulary for the variables that shape whether a person can release, catch, bridge, and redirect a survival response.
I did not create another list of trauma responses. I built a system-level model for tracing how a human being takes in information, assigns meaning, predicts consequences, selects a survival move, and loses or regains access to another choice.
The magnitude of the work
I could feel the machinery changing inside me before I had language for what it was doing. My interoception gave me access to the internal shifts. My highly pattern-sensitive mind allowed me to track the same sequence across trauma, attachment, neurodivergence, personality patterns, and behavior. I followed that sequence backward until I found the architecture underneath it.
Then I began testing what I was seeing. First on myself, where I could observe the process from the inside. Then through years of close observation, conversation, and voluntary real-world testing with friends, family, and others who trusted me with their patterns. I compared what people said they understood with what they could actually access and execute under pressure. I tracked what changed, what failed, what repeated, and which interruptions produced a different outcome.
I tested those observations against neuroscience, psychology, and existing research to investigate the biological mechanisms, challenge my own conclusions, and refine the model. The research did not hand me this architecture. It helped me test and explain what I had already detected.
That is how I built Unscarred: by identifying, observing, and testing the shared machinery beneath patterns that existing fields continue to study separately.
Under what conditions does repeated survival output become a tonic operating state that keeps shaping prediction and restricting available behavior, even after the original danger is gone?
“A person can possess an ability and still lose access to it.”
One original research architecture
Each layer does a different job. Together they move from regulatory theory, to behavioral interpretation, to a personalized map that can be tested in real life.
A structured vocabulary for the variables that shape whether a person can release, catch, bridge, and redirect a survival response.
My explanation for how repeated survival output may stop behaving like a temporary reaction and become the operating state a person keeps returning to.
A way to see how information becomes meaning, prediction, response selection, behavior, consequence, and reinforcement.
The reasoning system I built to separate the state, the survival response, the mask, the capacity, the intention, and the actual level of control.
The individual map that shows the engine beneath your repeating pattern and the next move your system may actually be able to execute.
The distinction that changes the question
Is the ability present in the person at all?
Can their system reach that ability in this state?
Can enough attention and energy be assigned to it right now?
Can understanding become an action before the survival move wins?
The 90-day application
You can know why you freeze, fawn, overexplain, disappear, return, procrastinate, mask, or shut down and still be unable to choose differently when pressure changes what you can access, allocate, or execute.
We work backward through the loop, identify the protective rule, and test a competing move while the pattern is active. This is structured application of an original behavioral model, not ninety days of motivational quotes.
What your enrollment includes
You are not paying for a Discord server. The Discord is where the program happens. You are paying for the process, the structure, direct analysis, live practice, and ninety days of application.
A focused prompt, observation, or field exercise every day. Small enough to complete. Specific enough to expose what your system is actually doing.
One teaching and mapping session, plus one live integration lab where we work with the patterns that showed up in real life that week.
One private session with Scar to trace your repeating loop, identify the protective rule beneath it, and choose the first interruption to test.
A serious working space for questions, check-ins, pattern tracking, replays, tools, and support throughout the full 90 days.
The 90-day map
Weeks 1–3
Catch the loop earlier. Separate the trigger, prediction, body response, selected move, and consequence.
Weeks 4–6
Test competing moves while the pattern is active and learn which interventions your system can actually execute.
Weeks 7–9
Repeat what creates movement, remove what only sounds good, and strengthen a safer operating route.
Weeks 10–13
Turn what worked into a personal operating map you can keep using after the program ends.

This program is for people willing to show up, tell the truth about what happened, complete the daily work, attend the live sessions when possible, and test new moves outside the group. You do not have to be perfect. You do have to participate.
If you want passive content to save and never open again, this is not the room. If you are ready to study your own system as seriously as you have studied everybody else’s behavior, come in.
Founding cohort enrollment
one payment for the complete 90-day program
Payment plan
Choose the payment-plan option at checkout. The first payment reserves your place, followed by two monthly payments.
Founding scholarship release
The first five places are available for a minimum $5 commitment donation. They are first come, first served.
First, make your $5 donation through the official Unscarred donation page. Then return here, open the program checkout, and enter the code below. The code will stop working after five successful uses. If you can afford regular enrollment, please leave one of these places for someone who genuinely cannot.
Five additional scholarship places are reserved for community contests and will be announced separately.
Who this can support
I work with patterns connected to ADHD, autism, CPTSD, BPD, attachment, dissociation, chronic freeze, fawning, masking, hypervigilance, emotional shutdown, rejection sensitivity, repeating relationship loops, and executive dysfunction.
This is behavioral education and guided self-observation. It does not diagnose conditions or replace medical care, psychotherapy, or crisis support.
Questions people ask before they commit
Come when you can and use the replay when you cannot. Consistent engagement matters more than a flawless attendance record.
No. This is an educational and behavioral pattern-mapping program. It can complement professional care, but it does not replace it.
We choose one high-impact repeating loop, map the chain that keeps producing it, and identify a specific competing move to test.
Yes. Individual calls are booked separately and are not the same as enrollment in the 90-day group program.
The Survival Exit
We will find the rule keeping it alive. You can enter the public Discord now. Program channels unlock after enrollment is verified.
